Hi! I'm Chad Montgomery, a photographer based in Langley, BC. My work is about family life, quiet observations, and natural world encounters. I try to document the moments that shape where and how we live.
Much of my photography is built around absent-actor photographs of raising kids. Honest, unposed images that hold space for memory and meaning. I'm equally drawn to subtle scenes and overlooked landscapes, where light, form, and timing reveal something often overlooked.
Whether I'm on the sidelines of a soccer and lacrosse game, watching the fog lift off the river, or following the lines of a back alley, I'm interested in the small, telling details that go unnoticed in our busy lives.
